Bio
Michał Krenz, born 1980 in Gdańsk, Poland, has learned painting and graphics in Gdańsk and Berlin. He is a trained architect, and his interests lie in the relationship between cities and people inhabiting them. Within various forms of art, he explores that relationship in short films, urban installations, paintings and assemblages. He investigates internal reality by the use of found objects with visible traces of deterioration, which he sees as a metaphoric evidence of personal experience. He has taken part in individual and group exhibitions in Poland, Germany, Portugal, Korea, Bulgaria and Chroatia.
